risk of lung cancerIn the Netherlands, in 1948 reported a possible link between smoking and lung cancer. This was followed soon other scientific evidence that smoking can cause cancers. Especially the deceased Sir Richard Doll in 2005 from England has pioneered. Doll was the first to devastating relationship between smoking and cancer scientifically proven.

Smoking causes lung cancer. Of all people with lung cancer is nearly 90% of cases directly attributable to smoking. In 9323 deceased people to lung cancer in 2004, with 8033 times smoking was the cause. Scientists have calculated that one in seven smokers (early) dies from lung cancer. (more…)

Stop smoking

smokingLung cancer is in 90% of cases by smoking. If you have cancer or you have smoked, this is annoying to hear. You simply smoked, and you can not undo. What you still can do is encourage people around you to stop smoking. You know what the consequences might be, and you’re the right person to that of your partner, children, family, friends and colleagues across.

If you do not have cancer, you then consider this:

* One in four smokers dies early (between the 35th and 69th year of life) to the effects of smoking. This is like a gun to your head, which one of the four rooms is loaded.
* Every year, more than 9000 new cases of lung cancer in, and almost 9000 people die of lung cancer. By comparison, the number of victims per year over 1000. (more…)
