Each day more than one hundred people get a stroke. Speed Dial 112 is vital, but many people seem not to recognize a stroke. The Dutch Heart Foundation has therefore made posters which the signals are shown in photos.

Research commissioned by the Heart Foundation has made clear that no less than ninety percent of the people the three most important signs of a stroke knows to appoint: a crooked mouth, slurred speech and poor cripple. Nevertheless, recognizing a stroke in reality more difficult. At a stroke should call 112 quickly, because time lost is brain lost. Therefore, everyone can recognize a stroke, says the Heart Foundation. (more…)
