What is alternative therapy?
The term “alternative therapy” generally is used to describe any medical treatment or intervention that has not been scientifically documented or identified as safe or effective for a specific condition or disease.

Alternative therapy encompasses a variety of disciplines ranging from diet and exercise to mental conditions and changes in lifestyle. Examples include acupuncture, the use of guided imagery, chiropractic, yoga, hypnosis, biofeedback, aromatherapy, relaxation, herbal remedies, massage, or many others.

Why are so popular alternative therapies?
Many people, especially those with chronic diseases, are seeking answers to questions about how they can manage their illness.

Sometimes traditional medicine can not give their responses and thus they can not cure or remove the symptoms. Work or not, alternative therapies offer many times the answers. (more…)

Stroke (CVA, stroke) and acupuncture

StrokePatients who have been through a stroke may have problems due to different symptoms such as loss of strength, sensory loss, pain, stiffness of limbs (spasticity), word finding disorders (aphasia) and difficulty with coordination to name a few symptoms.

Several studies show that neuro acupuncture and electro acupuncture for example the effects of a stroke can be properly used. Unfortunately there are absolutely no hard studies which show that from. Besides an example of how we practice our hand paralysis with electroacupuntur deal.

Research by Chinese acupuncturists have shown that treatment of stroke with acupuncture as the most successful patients as soon as practicable after making the stroke (the stroke, the stroke, all different names for the same) are treated. The earlier treatment starts, the more impact the acupuncture may have.
