The work routine takes toll of many workers, who fall into small depressions or undergo periods of stress, which may induce them to exceed the food.

According to Dr. Ignacio Ferrando, director of Sanitas Medical Communication, “part of our survival instinct and autorecompensa lies in the food, which prompts us to seek satisfaction in it instinctively lost in everyday problems. Therefore, excessive hunger or “craving to snack on” uncontrolled are signs that must not be neglected, then tell us that something happens to that, avoid them, could have serious consequences.

The intake of unhealthy food or the breakdown of dietary habits can lead to lack of some nutrients and the consequent lowering of defenses, weakening our immune system and provoking physical stress at the same time, causes episodes of emotional stress, which attempted to mitigate self reward through the meal.

It is a vicious circle that we must end as soon as possible, because the clinical consequences resulting from excess weight are multiple cardiovascular disorders, arthritis, liver dysfunction, diabetes, arteriosclerosis … Well you know the Spanish Society for the Study of Obesity (SEED), whose latest study shows that 53.5% of the Spanish population between 25 and 60 are overweight, of which 39% are overweight and 14.5% are obese.
